Bitmine Holds 6.06M ETH Tokens, Total Crypto Assets Hit $14.5B
Bitmine Immersion Technologies now controls 4.9% of total Ethereum supply, with combined crypto, cash, and securities holdings reaching $14.5 billion.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) has disclosed that its Ethereum holdings have reached 6.06 million ETH tokens, representing approximately 4.9% of the total circulating Ethereum supply of 122.2 million units, the company announced. Combined with cash and marketable securities, the firm's total holdings now stand at $14.5 billion.
The company's accumulation pace has been striking. Within just 15 months, Bitmine says it has completed 99% of the journey toward what it calls the "Alchemy of 5%" — an internal benchmark referring to controlling a 5% share of all circulating ETH. Reaching that threshold would place Bitmine among the largest single institutional holders of any major proof-of-stake cryptocurrency globally.

The company argued the incident highlighted the industry's transparency and rapid incident-response capabilities compared with traditional finance, though the specific details of those arguments were outlined separately by the firm.
The announcement underscores a growing institutional trend of corporations building concentrated positions in Ethereum, mirroring earlier corporate bitcoin treasury strategies pioneered by firms such as MicroStrategy. Bitmine's aggressive accumulation strategy positions it as a bellwether for Ethereum-focused corporate treasury models as ETH-based exchange-traded products continue to attract regulatory and investor attention.
